Independant Research-Annie Leibovitz

FACTUAL:All of these photo's are by Annie Leibovitz, and most of them are from her disney collection,also featured with the vogue fashion magazine.  The model used in many of the Alice in Wonderland photo's is Natalie Vodianova.

TECHNICAL:I really like all of Annie Leibovitz disney photo's they are all very colourful and creative. And my favourite photo is probably the last photo with Natalie Vodianova and the two men in the suits. Its look very fairytale and the costume's are very colourful and playful. They really fit to the disney theme.

AESTHETIC:I also like the way Annie Leibovitz uses a variety of colours such as the first photo it is all blue and the whole theme is the ocean. Then there's the black and white photo,I especially like this because it looks quite old fashioned and the way the lighting is on the dress emphasises the ruffles in the layers.

CONTEXT: There are many photo's that Annie Leibovitz has taken in the style of Disney but these are the photo's I have chosen because they caught my eye.

All of the Alice and wonderland photos are quite natural and sweet colourful photo's, they all contain the same theme colours that really fit the theme of alice and wonderland. She has done a brilliant job in keeping the photo's connected to the Disney feature.

 I would like my personal photo's that are in the theme of Annie Leibovitz to look like these disney ones. 

Depth Of Field

• Factual: This photo is taken by Annie Liebovitz this is also part of her Disney collection. The girl dressed as Pocahontas is Jessica Biel.
• I Have chosen this photo for depth of field because there is a wide selection of things focused in the photo such as Jessica's Biel's body running,the little deer behind her is in focus too, then there's the objects just out of focus like the pirate ship in the backround and the leaves flying by which give's a sense of movement in the photo.
• The area within the depth of field appears sharp, while the areas in front of and beyond the depth of field appear blurry which draw's your attention to certain parts of the photo.

Composition

• Factual: This photo is taken by Annie Liebowitz from her "Disney Alice In Wonderland" collection.
• I've used this photo for composition because there's a lot of  things going on in this photo such as all the objects on the table,the tree's and grass in the background,and the girl looking straight forward to us. They all make the photo look very sweet and innocent, it all very creative and colourful which I like about it.

Focal Point

• FACTUAL: This photo of Angelina Jolie was taken by Annie Leibowitz,Angelina is an actor and is normally known "Lara Croft" in the  tomb raider films.
• CONTEXT: This is one of many photos Annie Leibowitz has taken of Angelina Jolie
• AESTHETIC: The thing I like about this photo is how her tattoo's on her back stand out against the cloud water,and how natural her face looks,I especially like how only parts of her body are shown out of the water.
